I've been a painting contractor since 1979, with forays into other ventures along the way. I have painted shopping malls, Victorian mansions, new builds, striped parking lots, thousands of homes and businesses, freeway retaining walls and underpasses...pretty much anything that stands still long enough to be painted. I've run crews and been a foreman (forewoman, I guess) and taught many people the craft.

Dogmuse is recently reincarnated. In my 16 month absence, it continued to get a fair bit of traffic, according to sitemeter. Oh dear, another abandoned blog? Nope. i believe in the heavens and earth and duct tape...everyone teases me cause i use duct tape to mail packages..it works perfect..it aint pretty..but it works
Karen, isn't it just too macho? Walgreens has them. Not quite a cool as the animal print ones I had once though.
jackiesue, a woman after my own heart, duct tape is awesome stuff. You can get it in green and lavender now too!
I need to get these for our carpenter who is still finishing stuff at the house...wonder if he will appreciate the humor?

Sidenote: Until recently, I seriously thought duct tape was "duck tape"!
