How I spent my vacation.

These are all before and during photos, of course. The waves and fish are gone, as is the wallpaper, the panelling and the beams...the whole house is going Graham "Vanilla Ice" Elite Flat and Satin, with shiny white trim. And I have a buttload of taping and drywall, ugh.

I think perhaps you and both need to rethink the term "vacation." I cleaned my garage and my home office. . . Do we know how to kick back or what?? LOL!!

Yep!! I saw ya wavin'

I do quite a bit of volunteer work through my job (Habitat for Humanity, Focus Hope) and try to volunteer occasionally at the local Senior Center run by our City.

Hope all is well!!

No kidding!
I put in a volunteer application with Habitat for Humanity last spring and they never responded. :(
Oh...Pedro is fine. He is on my computer monitor now, actually. He came down to Jackson for Christmas with me but I forgot to take his picture. Pedro says "hi back, you rock Lauren." ROTFLMAO.
Think I'll take him to work in Grand Blanc today.

More beige? But hey! Decals and light blue!

Is that your place, or was Cooper visiting the job site?

Oh, it's a rather nice house with a pool in the back yard, great big party basement and circular driveway...WISH it was mine!
It's empty and having lots of work done....I worked some last weekend. Since there weren't carpenters, floor guys, plumbers etc all over the place I brought Cooper along.

You cannot call it a vacation if you work. Especially if you work as hard as you do. You still get to have a vacation.

va·ca·tion (vā-kā'shən, və-) pronunciation
n.

1. A period of time devoted to pleasure, rest, or relaxation, especially one with pay granted to an employee.
2.
1. A holiday.
2. A fixed period of holidays, especially one during which a school, court, or business suspends activities.

So you see, you just haven't had yours yet. Cool, now you have that to look forward to. And so does Pedro.
